Red Cedar

Mast Luxury’s Red Cedar listing is a great example of a large renovation project that showcases modifications and improvements that we’re extremely proud of. This home was not a result of a “quick flip” but instead its details were beautiful, certain, and functional. Bringing an old but once-loved home practically down to the studs is not for the faint of heart but is an avenue to be creative on a blank canvas. We feel that the most important part of renovations or simply just selling a home is to sincerely do the home justice. It is often not a quick process but in the end our homes that hold our precious memories deserve nothing but the best.

A sweet little bath

This once carpeted bath that was directly off the kid’s room now feels like a sweet addition to the room.

Make an entrance.

Adding this sliding door makes a beautiful entrance to the primary bath.

Simple matte black tile laid in a herringbone pattern paired with Delta’s champagne finished accents is truly chef’s kiss.

Make it stand out.

Don’t be scared to step outside the box a little. Going green with our custom cabinetry was a bold choice but played so well with the black appliances and white oak accents.

Trim makes a statement.

Adding trim like crown molding, board & batten, and wainscoting can be an affordable way to take a home from builder grade to custom easily.

The primary closet converts to a bath.

One of the biggest upgrades we did to this home besides the kitchen was the primary bathroom. This bath was once an oversized his & her closet while the bathroom was extremely tiny with only enough room for a standing shower and single vanity. We knew to sell this home for top dollar a large portion of the budget needed to go towards this bathroom upgrade. Plumbing is expensive but certainly packs a punch. Installing double white oak vanities, a freestanding tub, and a dual-head glass shower to this primary suite was the perfect addition.

Honed granite.

When choosing black granite a key element to keep in mind is to choose “honed” or “leathered” finished. This will give “soapstone” rather than dated 90’s.

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek into Red Cedar’s remodel. I sincerely believe we did this place justice and this special house deserves nothing but the best. We hope the new owners are proud and comfortable spending time here. I’m looking forward to tackling more projects, making new memories, and enjoy selling beautiful spaces.
